What is efreedom.com?
eFreedom.com is a simplified remix of multiple stackexchange.com websites. The data is used with
permission and proper attribution. We have done a number of things that we think add
value to this data set,
namely:
- Simplification of the user interface. We show only
the accepted answer (or highest voted answer if no answer has been
accepted yet). We removed the
sidebar, comments and vote counts in order to minimize distraction. This
gets you to your answer and on to your project quickly. - Translation of the content. We are translating the
content into 14 languages right now, and plan for even more languages in
the future. This eliminates the
lag to use a translate service on the fly. - Google custom search. We think Google provides the best
search on the planet right now, so we have integrated it into our website. - Social Networking. Share answers with your friends and co-workers.
- Improved layout for mobile devices
- Related questions with snippets so you don't have to click through to see if the question is what you want
- We provide a link below the answer that allows the
user to see any additional answers for the question, but these are
hidden by default to minimize
distraction. - More exposure for stackexchange.com websites. By remixing the
content, linking back without nofollow and providing translations, we
expose stackexchange.com to more earthlings than if efreedom.com did not
exist.
